ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!
To support your well-being
If you, like many others, are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, low motivation, apathy, and maybe even increased adverse effects of drugs or alcohol use then HaRT NW is here to provide compassionate care that is focused on your internal wisdom.
An alternative approach to abstinence only models of care. Harm Reduction Therapy (HaRT) addresses unwanted consequences to drug and/or alcohol use by recognizing that a persons relationship to substances is complex and unique to the individual.
For the last 10 years I have worked with people struggling with substance use, complex trauma, value(s) confusion, the challenges of being a new parent, as well as treatment resistant depression and anxiety.
I am a harm reductionist that utilizes a variety of strategies to help you move towards your identified goals for change. Some of these strategies include Brainspotting, Parts Work Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Relational Therapy.
I also offer preparation and integration sessions for Psychadelic healing. I also am able to provide Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy with the help of a partnering MHNP. Please reach out if you have questions.
Former clients have described me as direct and affirming with a wicked sense of humor.
They have noted that our work together has improved their self awareness and self compassion, as well as increased ability to navigate the challenges that emerge in day to day life.
Our therapy focus is defined in collaboration together. You are the expert in your life and we will build a therapeutic relationship that utilizes your inner wisdom and my clinical knowledge to achieve your desired goals. The care I provide is informed by the feedback you provide me throughout our time working together.
