I've been working as a licensed therapist specializing in trauma and addiction for over 30 years. I worked for Kaiser Permanente in the Addiction Medicine Department for over 30 years. I have been in private practice for 2.5 years. My passion is helping people heal from complex trauma. I work using a body centered approach and have been trained in somatic experiencing, brain spotting mindfulness and am now getting certified in somatic EMDR. I also find using parts work and IFS as a very helpful modality. I am not officially trained with this modality however do use it in conjunction with other modalities. One of the most important foundations for healing is trust and safety and these develop as we work together and our work can then deepen.
