Léa Kujala LCSW CADC III (she/her/hers)

With over fifteen years of experience in addictions and trauma recovery, I’ve built a career dedicated to helping individuals navigate complex journeys toward healing. This passion led me to earn a Master’s in Social Work and later achieve my LCSW and CADCIII credentials, deepening my commitment to supporting individuals through evidence-based, compassionate care.

Throughout my career, I’ve served as both a counselor and Clinical Director, roles that have allowed me not only to support individuals directly but also to help shape the future of addiction counseling. I’m especially passionate about mentoring the next generation of addiction counselors, sharing my experience to prepare them for impactful, meaningful work.

My Approach:

I believe that recovery and mental health care are deeply personal journeys, so I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs. My work integrates trauma-informed care, Internal Family Systems (IFS), sex therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. This eclectic blend allows me to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges and build lasting resilience.

Personal Interests:

Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time in nature, staying active, knitting, baking, and sharing time with my partner and kids. These activities help me stay grounded and bring balance to my life, enhancing the empathy and focus I bring to my work.
