Lotus (they/she) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Level 3 (CADCIII), with extensive experience working with individuals and communities affected by complex trauma, substance use, oppression, and relational challenges. They are deeply committed to providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your identity, your relationships, and your healing journey. Lotus developed their therapeutic skills through years of practice in community, residential, and hospital settings, where they specialize in working with chaotic substance use with a harm reduction focus, complex trauma, and LGBTQIA* specific populations. 

Lotus’ therapeutic approach blends trauma-informed and social justice-oriented care with evidence-based modalities including Internal Family Systems,  Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and mindfulness techniques. They integrate harm reduction strategies in work around substance use, recognizing the importance of meeting individuals where they are in their journey. Lotus’ evidence-based approach is collaborative, client-centered, and strengths based, and incorporates creativity and flexibility. Additionally, Lotus incorporates Ketamine-assisted therapy, and will soon be offering psilocybin-assisted therapy, when appropriate, based upon careful consideration of each client’s unique situations (and important to note these approaches are not covered by insurance). Lotus also offers integration and preparation for the use of psychedelics for healing.
