ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!
Jessica is confident in peoples internal wisdom and ability to move towards health and change.
For the past 10+ years Jessica has been working with people who experience both symptoms of mental health disorders and symptoms of drug and alcohol use disorders.
She has provided individual and group therapy in Residential Treatment Centers and Outpatient treatment.
She has also worked with pregnant and post-partum people who identify with either current or historic problematic substance use.
The clients she has counseled have often experience treatment resistant symptoms of depression and anxiety; often these symptoms were related to painful life events.
Jessica's career has focused on creative and inclusive solutions for change. These include designing and implementing programs like treatment Crossfit groups and Harm Reduction Therapy. She has been trained in both Brainspotting and EMDR.
Jessica is also a recent graduate of Integrative Psychiatry Institutes program in Psychedelic Assisted Therapies. The include Ketamine, MDMA, and Psilocybin.
Jessica is awaiting her final approval from OHA for her Psilocybin Facilitators License in the state of Oregon.
I think that all people are capable of significant growth and change when they are safe, and have a strong supportive community that helps them process and understand their own experience.
I believe that therapists can be an integral part of building and maintaining this connection to others and self.
I strive to be as affirming and culturally competent as I am able while also acknowledging that I am a work in progress.
I also love all animals. Currently my favorite animal escapes are mushy faced dogs and videos of unlikely animal friends.
